Taormina

Well, just up the coast from Taormina actually. 

It's a stoney beach (what's all the fuss) but a pool, a bar and a bed for us until we head to Catania tomorrow to join the Nicky Pellegrino food tour. This is the final point, or sponsor of the trip after Marie read all of her books. 

It's good to be so close now (50 mins) and not need a four hour rush from Pizzo as we had originally planned.

Today's drive on/off ferry was a typical slick operation.

Then we found some lunch in a coastal spot.

And now we rest and wait until tomorrow. 

Unusual thing to see on a beach.
