Rome Day 1

It's amazing how far you can walk in a half day, after arriving upon our latest train journey. 

Here's the view outside our lovely apparent. Katie introduced is to the lovely owner, who met us to check in and invited us home for dinner!

Castel Sant Angelo, which we must come back to because the Sunday crowds were beyond our tolerance level.

Spanish Steps

The roads below are an alleyway of Prada, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Rolex etc and like all their other locations they don't really add much to the 'local' experience.

Dinner with Luigi and family will be a much better local experience. 

Tomorrow we are off to vote for a new Pope in the morning and then enjoy our next food tour.

We may also need to go past a supermarket for plasters to avoid blisters!
