Sorrento

Today was a transit day; our last Italo fast train from Rome to Naples.

Then onto the Graffiti Express from Naples to Sorrento. Think 1980's Johnsonville train line for an hour, in full carriages, as a description!

Marie says I stretched her tolerance for travel standards with this leg 😂

On reflection there was a ferry option across the bay but it required more transport to the Naples port. At the time, staying within the train network sounded simplest. 

We are now staying in an apartment at the Sorrento Yacht Club which is very nice.

There's also a big yacht regatta on at present. 

So a very nice place for early dinner by the bay.

Tomorrow we join a tour to Pompeii.
