Waterfalls on a 60th 🥳

As churches are to Europe, waterfalls are to Iceland.

Yes, they are usually impressive but we think we may have seen enough of them by the time we get back to Reykjavic!

Today we followed the 'Ring Road' with the section between Selfoss and Vik. It included several 'should see' areas off the main road.

One can't call it a highway because it really isn't. It's like a B road elsewhere. There is no run off area (gravel slopes immediately) and seldom paint for the centre line. Nonetheless, everyone seems to carefully make it work.

Did we say yesterday that the appearance of the land is a lot like Waiouru and the Desert Road?
We tried to make this our first coffee.... But there were far too many tourists onboard!
Cute, friendly horses.
A waterfall.
That you can walk behind and get very wet. It's the only one we 'participated' in.
Skogafoss was the best of them today.
Just like rugged NZ beaches on the West coast.

We saw a few puffins flying away from a cliff but expect to see more in the North in a couple of days.
