Reykjavic

We had a full day in Reykjavik today (after a good sleep regardless of 21 hours daylight).

The city centre is relatively small, to do is easy to walk.

The large church on the hill is close to our accommodation so we started there. Yes, we said no more churches but...

This one is the plainest we have seen anywhere! Undecorated concrete inside and out.
However, it has a beautiful organ, which was being played during our visit.
You can also pay to visit the top of the bell tower for views.
There have been no puffin sightings yet and only a single polar bear.
We continued our strategy of food tours, with more success, joining another group of lovely people. Including food such as:
Horse 😳
Shark! (Very strong smell)
And hotdogs.

There were many other courses (such as licorice lamb), all of which were yummy.

As we're the cronuts that we found for breakfast 😁
The coffee has been excellent at various locations.

We can't show you an image but the other very good activity was a 'fly over Iceland' movie which provides an excellent over view of the geography.

We head off tomorrow on our anti clockwise drive around the countryside.
