Pushkar bound

Today we traveled by local train, then our mini bus to Pushkar.

It was a good opportunity to see a range of countryside. It is predominantly dry and a bit baron, like central otago mid summer (away from irrigation spots).

The guide was a little concerned we wouldn't like the train but it was great fun and much better than the mini bus!

When the train stops...
The monkeys come aboard.
Then, once in Pushkar we head back into the sea of people...
Then down to the lake to be blessed and to make our next life better (a bit presumptuous I thought)
We have a robust and fabulous future ahead of us given the number of times that we have been blessed.
Yummy local food stalls
Parking behaviours 😂
Pushkars natural lake
Learning how to feed bananas to the cows. They definitely rule the land, with total freedom to do as they please.
Contractors clearing the sewer lines with bamboo.
The always very disappointing rubbish situation.

India is not going to be everyone's cup of tea for travel but when you look back through the photos you always smile and think WOW.
