We like Edinburgh

Our first, and continuing impression is that we like Edinburgh, both old and new parts of town. We would however recommend shoulder season! We don't recall ever being surrounded by so many other tourists. Walking tours are a great introduction (more tomorrow) before heading off to self-lead the rest of the days activities. A cooler start which warmed up as the clouds burnt off.
