At least 50% of the roads across the North Coast are single lane, with cute little passing bays every few hundred metres. It's not a place for nervous drivers. Yes, trucks, buses and campervans come the other way.
We finished the day in Inverness where we discovered Nessie can easily escape the Loch to the Moray Firth down the River Ness! If Disneyland was involved they'd have built and installed a mechanical Nessie to occasionally rise up out of the river in sight of the city.
