Port Isaac 2

We enjoyed a full day in Port Isaac today.

The walking tour turned into more of a Doc Martin homage for the fans. It was led by a genuine local though so good value.

There are far more tourists than fishermen in this village! Only 25 locals live in the old part of the village now; the rest of the properties are holiday rentals.

Speaking of fishermen, the singing ones and the movie aren't as famous as Doc Martin.

Seagulls boldly steal ice creams (not ours). The tide seems to move fast with a 4-5 metre height change.

Like Fowey, it's pointless bringing a car down into the village centre, but that doesn't stop tourists from trying and immediately stuffing up movement for important trade vehicles.

Doc Marin's house, although they don't actually film inside it. It is a holiday rental, that everyone stands outside and stares into!
